Helping you build confidence, connection, and calm without pressure or shame.
Anxiety therapy for teen boys and adult men in Atlanta.
You’re holding it together, but barely.
Maybe your teen seems on edge all the time - overwhelmed, snapping at you, isolating themselves.
Or maybe you’re the one stuck in loops of worry, perfectionism, or panic and don’t know why.
Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks. Sometimes it shows up as…
The pressure to always be “on”
Overanalyzing every decision or social interaction
Trouble sleeping or shutting your brain off
Feeling like you’re not doing enough - even when you’re doing everything right!
You don’t have to push through anxiety alone.
Therapy can help you understand your anxiety - and what to do with it.
At Ember Counseling, I work with teens and adults who want to stop the spiral of overthinking and start feeling grounded again. You don’t just need coping skills. You need a real plan — one that helps you understand where this anxiety comes from, how it operates, and how to untangle from it.
Hi! I’m Ash Blanton
For years, my life motto was "work harder and don’t ask for help." I struggled with perfectionism, anxiety, and the overwhelming feeling of having to have it together all the time. I know how tough it can be to feel stuck and unsure of where to turn.
I became a therapist to help men like myself have a space where they could talk about the struggles they face and solve their problems by building on their strengths and skills
My goal is to help you find solutions to life’s biggest problems, whether that’s gaining clarity about the future, overcoming destructive habits, or balancing relationships and responsibilities. You don’t have to navigate this season of life alone.
The Ember Counseling Difference
Solution-Focused
I believe therapy should lead somewhere. We won’t just talk about problems — we’ll focus on what’s working, where you want to go, and how to take meaningful steps forward. You'll leave each session with insight and direction.
Strength-Based
You’re not broken — you’re resourceful, resilient, and capable. I help you tap into those strengths, even if they feel buried right now, and use them to build the life you actually want.
Story-Driven
The way you tell your story shapes how you see yourself and your future. Together, we’ll explore the beliefs, experiences, and turning points that brought you here — and rewrite the ones that are keeping you stuck.

As is the case with other extensively trained and highly qualified therapists with many years of experience, I am not on any insurance panels and my clients pay privately for my services. This gives you several important advantages, including protecting your privacy (the insurance company does not have access to your diagnosis or what was discussed in our sessions) and control of our work together (you and I determine the length of therapy, what you want to cover in therapy, and the type of treatment that you find is effective and works, not the insurance company). This provides you with the best experience and services.
